Many industry partners support Nexera™ canola in the production of the world’s leading heart healthy cooking oil, Omega-9 Oil. Industry partners include crop production supply retailers, grain handling companies, exporters, crush facilities, secondary processors and the retail sector. At the same time, a growing number of restaurant chains are showing support for Nexera canola by making the switch to Omega-9 Oil in their kitchen fryers and baking ingredients.
Kerry Dankers
For the past four years, Nexera canola had the honour of sponsoring a Canadian long-track speed skater Olympian (Olympic Winter Games, Turin 2006), Kerry Dankers, as she worked towards her goal of competing at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Games. During this time we have gotten to know Kerry and are very proud of her as an athlete as well as a Nexera canola spokesperson. She has travelled all over the world competing in her events and brought us along for the ride. Her tireless training and dedication provide a great example, and she embodies the values behind Healthier Farming. At the Olympic Trials in December, Kerry’s time wasn’t quite enough to make the team but she continues to be an inspiration and example of what can be achieved when you are willing to put in the time and effort – sort of like growing canola!
