NEX 845 CL – The Standard
Nex 845 CL offers hybrid-sized yields and produces higher profit potential than
leading commodity canola varieties. Its maturity is 3.5 days later than competitive
standards, has medium height, comes with very good lodging resistance, very good harvestability, is resistant
to Fusarium Wilt and is rated MR for Blackleg.
Variety characteristics and returns based on 33 Nexera canola megaplot sites in LSZ, MSZ and SSZ of western Canada in 2008 and 2009. Returns calculated based on a 40 bushel/acre crop of generic canola at a price of $396/tonne ($9.00/bu.) and a Nexera canola health bonus of $50/tonne ($1.13/bu.). NX4-205 CL- Rated for Blackleg
NX4-205 CL is a new option for CLEARFIELD® growers. NX4-205 CL offers the strong performance, standability, ease of swathing, easy to harvest and profit potential that growers have experienced with Nex 845 CL. NX4-205 CL also offers decreased days to maturity and improved Blackleg resistance as compared to Nex 845 CL and delivers high yield and profit potential compared to competitive canola varieties in the long and mid season growing zones.

NX4-105 RR offers similar yield potential as 71-45 RR, excellent lodging resistance for ease of swathing, good harvestability, R ratings for Blackleg and Fusarium Wilt resistance and will provide higher profit potential than competitive canola varieties in the long and mid season growing zones.
