Seed a recommended variety of NX4 RR canola beside your commodity RR canola and if you don’t make more money by growing NX4 RR canola, we’ll pay you the difference plus one additional bushel per acre of canola for your time… it’s that simple.

To qualify for the HEALTHIER PROFIT Guarantee, the grower agrees:
- to sign up through a local Dow AgroSciences Sales Representative, the Dow AgroSciences Solutions Center at 1.800.667.3852, or visit our web site at www.healthierfarming.ca;
- to enter into a NX4 RR production contract with one of Dow AgroSciences’ grain company partners, Bunge Canada, LDM Foods, Louis Dreyfus Commodities, Richardson Pioneer or Viterra;
- to sign a 2010 Roundup Ready Canola Technical Use Agreement (TUA) and make the TUA available to the Dow AgroSciences Representative;
- that the Dow AgroSciences Sales Representative will approve the selected field and manage the HEALTHIER PROFIT Guarantee agreement;
- that the HEALTHIER PROFIT Guarantee is limited to a maximum of 80 acres of NX4 RR canola per grower;
- to seed up to 80 acres of NX4 RR canola on the same field as 80 acres of commodity RR canola - the field must be homogeneous (eg: level with no high or low spots on the seeded area) and have the same cropping history throughout the entire field for the previous two years;
- to seed the NX4 RR canola beside the commodity RR canola and leave a 25 foot separation zone to maintain the Omega-9 oil profile of the NX4 RR canola;
- to seed the NX4 RR canola at the same time as the commodity RR canola and seed the NX4 RR variety at a seeding rate of 5.5 lbs/acre;
- that the Dow AgroSciences Sales Representative must be present at time of seeding;
- to fertilize the NX4 RR canola the same as the commodity RR canola;
- to spray the NX4 RR canola with the same herbicide products and at the same rates as the commodity RR canola;
- to treat the NX4 RR canola with the same insecticide and/or fungicide products and at the same rates as the commodity RR canola;
- to swath both the NX4 RR canola and the generic commodity RR canola at 60% seed color change, even if this is at different times for each variety;
- to harvest the NX4 RR and generic commodity RR canola separately, but as close together in time as possible;
- that yields must be measured by either a weigh wagon or legal for trade weigh scale and that equal size areas must be compared;
- that the Dow AgroSciences Sales Representative must be present at time of harvesting;
- the first swath of NX4 RR canola that is alongside the generic commodity RR canola must be binned and sold with the generic RR canola to maintain the Omega-9 oil profile of the NX4 RR canola;
- fields that experience severe weather conditions including flooding, frost or hail damage will be disqualified from the HEALTHIER PROFITS Guarantee;
- returns calculations will include seed price, the Nexera Health Bonus™, inputs and canola selling price;
- the generic commodity RR canola selling price must be established on the date the NX4 RR production contract is signed and will be established as the closing November 2010 futures price for both the NX4 RR canola and the generic commodity RR canola and this price will be used for the base selling price in the HEALTHIER PROFIT Guarantee;
- Dow AgroSciences may use the grower’s name and yield data in future marketing and advertising campaigns; and
- Dow AgroSciences reserves the right to terminate the HEALTHIER PROFIT Guarantee program at any time.
